PROGRAM

The Program   

  1.  Gathering books and Raising Fund through sending letters
        • To :  Government offices, NGOs, Individuals
        • How :  Forwarding the letters about Books for Dreams project to Government offices,
           NGOs and individuals through websites and e-mails.

  2.  Establishment of Library and School to support refugees in the camp
        • Establishment library in the camp 
        • Establishment of school in the camp

  3.  Announcement of supporting process and progress.
        Making the project web site and web board containing supporting details of the projects

        • Creating Books for Dreams’ web site in which the supporters can check the result of supports
        • The process and progress of establishment of library and school will be announced in the
           web site.
        • The project provides a chance for people who are looking for more meaning in their lives to    
           help other people in need. This project enables them to fund education for children. This will
           enable people with better chance to have a great feeling that they can help to change the world  
           for better.

 4.  Establishment of sisterhood relationship between supporters and the established library of the camp

      • If the donors have money, then donating is a good chance for them because their money is not
        only for their own or their children’s education, but they now have an opportunity to give the
        same gift of learning to hundreds of children in the camp.
      • The project manager (who is me myself) can show the donors the direct connection between what
         they give and what will be the results of their donation.

 5.  Visiting Mae Sod province, which is the camp town and the camp

       • The donors can visit the town and the camp when the opening ceremony of the library and school
          is arranged
       • When the donors want to visit the camp, we are pleased to arrange their trip.

6.  Building the network of donors (BOOK FOR DREAM) 

    • ongoing networks
      - South Korea
      National Human Rights Commission of Korea
      Aisa Community School, Human Rights Center,
      Busan Counseling Center for the Prevention of Women Violence

      - Thailand:
      They volunteer to raise fund and help gathering donated books.
